Honesty

I remember this saying as far back as I can remember; it hung on a little wooden plaque on the dining room wall of my grandad and grandma's house. I admit that I was a little slow on the significance and meaning of it; but this is an insight; we would do well to remember. We have many such reminders that are popular in culture, such as, "oh what a tangled web we weave, when at first we practice to deceive" and "honesty is the best policy." But all too often we (and I include myself) end up being dishonest. Lying is something that we all struggle with; we know we shouldn't lie; we know we should tell the Truth; but all too often we don't. But we do not have to lie. None of us have to lie. So, lets start working on being more honest with each other. There is another saying I have like since I was a kid: "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." No matter the lies you have told before; you can start today with honesty.

Success

Sometimes, we feel like giving up. It seems like we put a lot of effort in and never succeed, but maybe if we were to take a step back: we would see that we are having a series of small wins. Even if we can't, we might need to remember to view "failure" in the light of a lesson learned. Shortly before He invented his light bulb, Thomas Edison is attributed to saying "I have not failed; I have discovered 1,000 ways not to make a light bulb." We want to encourage you today to not give up. The only way to surely fail is to never try or to stop trying. You may need a new approach, or a slight modification to your plan or goal; but do not give up on any worthwhile goal.

Helpful tip of the day.

This idea  is neat, but I have found that using colored masking tape or even plain masking tape and writing what the cord is for work a whole lot better. Also if there is excess cords and they are gettin tangled you can loop the excess and twist tie the loop.
Sometimes, when we see a new product or company we can be skeptical just because they are new; however, that is not a sufficient reason alone to be skeptical of a company. I don't just say this because I have this new company: I have had other companies before. I say this because there are lots of legitimate small businesses out there being held back, because we are creatures of habit. We shop the same place, eat the same place, etc. We may be missing out on opportunities to do business with a family owned business, because we have watched too many commercials for a big business. We are a family owned business and we depend on your support. I also shared this because I know many people who have dreams and good ideas that just need the right backing that get discouraged and quit before they can get off the ground. Just because the first few people you present the idea too do not like it doesn't mean it is a bad idea. Keep trying, you may have the next Billion dollar idea
